Why am I sharing this information? Because I want others to be aware of my experience, which began on June 22, 2026. My front tooth broke off completely. I contacted several dental offices to find a dentist who accepted my insurance, Delta Dental with VA CHAMPVA. I explained that my goal was to have my tooth repaired. Dr. Yun M. Kang assured me that it would not be a problem and scheduled additional appointments. At my next appointment, the planned procedures were to extract the remaining root and complete a bone graft. When I arrived, Dr. Kang administered the numbing injections. After waiting approximately 10 minutes for the anesthesia to take effect, he informed me that the membrane required for the procedure had not arrived. As a result, the procedure could not be completed, and I was sent home after receiving the injections and being left numb. I was asked to return the following week once the necessary material was available. At my next visit, I went in to have my stitches removed, receive my permanent tooth, and confirm that the healing process was complete. Dr. Kang stated that the area had healed very well. A molar crown popped off as I was flossing one evening. At my appointment, Dr. Kang glued it on in a few minutes and it is good as new. Dr. Kang is always friendly and asks about me and my family. I enjoy my visits there and feel I'm getting excellent care.

I'm a recent new patient at 19th Ave Dental and had a great experience with Dr. Kang and his entire team. He's incredibly skilled and uses state-of-the-art equipment, which really shows in the quality of care. What stood out most to me was how easy he is to talk to—he's very engaging and easy to talk with. He explained each procedure, which made the visit feel much more relaxed and helped to take my mind off the treatment. The office staff were just as impressive—they're very friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. They made the billing process completely seamless, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend them.

A wonderful experience with a Team of true professionals. Dr. Kang has invested in very impressive equipment, he patiently explains procedures and answers questions. His team members are highly skilled, pleasant and professional.

We have been going there for many years. We've always had awesome results. No complaints. Kelly, Lynn, and Grace are like visiting with friends. Dr. Kang, who took over recently, does an awesome job. If you want to go to a comfortable environment check them out. Kelly is very fast and efficient, friendly, and kind. Lynn is also friendly and kind and checks the insurance and is very thorough with the paperwork. Grace also does and excellent job with the paperwork and is very friendly and kind.
